The review programme of the 2011 Dunlop/WONAGO MSA British Historic Rally Championship will make perfect festive viewing when it is screened for the first time on Motors TV at 9pm on Christmas Day.
 
The spectacle of Ford Escorts, Porsche 911s, Saabs, Vauxhall Chevettes and Hillman Imps tackling classic forest and asphalt stages is surely the perfect antidote to the regular Christmas Day TV programmes. The two-hour review covers all the action as crews competed from the forests of Wales to the closed public roads of Ulster and Flanders. The date for the second round of the 2012 Dunlop/WONAGO MSA British Historic Rally Championship has been changed.
 
The organisers of the Bulldog Historic Rally have brought the date of their event forward one week and it will now run on Saturday 24 March. All other details of the Bulldog, including the rally HQ at Welshpool Livestock Sales remain unchanged. Read More »

The review of the Dunlop/Wonago MSA British Historic Rally Championship is now available from David Winstanley at RallyTV. The DVD covers all seven rounds of the championship as the BHRC crews delivered an outstanding spectacle from the forests of Wales to the asphalt of Ulster.

The major winners for the 2011 Dunlop/WONAGO MSA British Historic Rally Championship have been confirmed. Following the cancellation of the Isle of Man Historic Rally, due to start today (Friday 28 October), the major awards were decided over seven events and it was David Stokes and Guy Weaver who completed back-to-back titles in their Ford Escort Mk1.

Category victories went to Rikki Proffitt (Porsche 911), Andrew Siddall (Ford Escort Mk1) and Will Onions (Ford Escort Mk2). Meanwhile, the co-driver titles for the three categories fell to Geraldine McBride, Carl Williamson and Dave Williams. Despite ending their season with a spectacular accident on the Ulster Rally in August, Onions and Williams still claimed category three when their nearest rivals Tim Pearcey and Neil Shanks retired with gearbox failure on the final round, the Colin McRae Forest Stages Rally. The full schedule for the 2012 Dunlop/WONAGO MSA British Historic Rally Championship has been unveiled.

The key change from 2011 is that the BHRC management team has taken the difficult decision to drop the Isle of Man Historic Rally from the main BHRC. The event will remain as a round of the Water End Asphalt Cup, but is replaced in the main schedule by the return of the Harry Flatters Rally on Epynt. The Isle of Man’s place in the full BHRC will be reviewed again for 2013. Read More »

The seventh and final round of the Dunlop/WONAGO MSA British Historic Rally Championship, the Colin McRae Forest Stages, will first be screened on Motors TV at 1.40pm on Saturday 22 October.

As well as the initial prime-time slot on Motors TV, each programme will have several repeats in the week after the initial transmission.
