Euan Thorburn and Paul Beaton stole victory from the clutches of Jock Armstrong and Paula Swinscoe, to win round five of the 2017 ARR Craib MSA Scottish Rally Championship (SRC), the Dunoon Presents Argyll Rally.

The Ford Fiesta R5 driver took his second consecutive win this season by a mere four seconds to strengthen his position at the top of the championship with just two rounds remaining. Euan Thorburn recorded his first win of the 2017 ARR Craib MSA Scottish Rally Championship (SRC) season in dominant fashion on the RSAC Scottish Rally.

Dolgellau star Osian Pryce and co-driver Dale Furniss secured a dominant victory at this weekend’s North Wales Rally Services Rally North Wales (1st April) at the wheel of their Ford Fiesta R5.


Fresh from a podium spot at the opening round of the MSA British Rally Championship, Pryce was fastest on each of the events six stages to win by a margin of over 1m 20sec from second placed Euan Thorburn and Paul Beaton in a similar machine. Read More »

snowman17-bogieFive-time Scottish champion David Bogie took a start to finish victory on the opening round of the 2017 ARR Craib MSA Scottish Rally Championship (SRC), the Arnold Clark Jury’s Inn Snowman Rally.

Bogie, with co-driver Kevin Rae alongside dominated each of the event’s five stages in his Skoda Fabia R5 to win the Inverness based rally by a comfortable 58 seconds. Grampian16 PodiumAberdeen based rally ace David Weston Jnr took an impressive victory at todays (Saturday 13th August) Coltel Grampian Stages despite being out from of competitive action since his Nicky Grist Stages victory in July 2015.   The Subaru Impreza WRC pilot was guided by Welshman Aled Davies and the duo were never bettered in the Stonehaven and District Motor Club organised event in which almost 100 crews from across the UK competed in the forests of Kincardineshire.   Read More »
