Whilst David Bogie and Kevin Rae took a commanding victory in Aberdeenshire, all eyes were on Euan Thorburn and Paul Beaton whose second place was enough to nett them their second ARR Craib MSA Scottish Rally Championship title at the Grampian Forest Rally this weekend.

Euan Thorburn and Paul Beaton stole victory from the clutches of Jock Armstrong and Paula Swinscoe, to win round five of the 2017 ARR Craib MSA Scottish Rally Championship (SRC), the Dunoon Presents Argyll Rally.

The Ford Fiesta R5 driver took his second consecutive win this season by a mere four seconds to strengthen his position at the top of the championship with just two rounds remaining. Dolgellau star Osian Pryce and co-driver Dale Furniss secured a dominant victory at this weekend’s North Wales Rally Services Rally North Wales (1st April) at the wheel of their Ford Fiesta R5.


Fresh from a podium spot at the opening round of the MSA British Rally Championship, Pryce was fastest on each of the events six stages to win by a margin of over 1m 20sec from second placed Euan Thorburn and Paul Beaton in a similar machine. Read More »
