For the fifth edition of the “Volant Euroformula”, the school offers young drivers a “Volant Euroformula Junior” specifically for drivers who do not have their competition licence! The juniors will compete of course for the 60,000 euro award and they will not go away empty-handed if they do not succeed:

– 3 Formula Renault 2.0 races in the V de V Championship for the first in the unlicensed juniors
– Semi-finals selection will include 6 unlicensed and 6 licensed drivers
– A selection exclusively for unlicensed drivers. To give them the same opportunity as experienced drivers, two “post-selection” training days are possible on the La Châtre circuit for an exceptional price.

Enzo Guibbert Euroformula LedenonWhen he made pole position in the qualifying session reserved for “Pro” drivers, Enzo Guibbert, the “Volant Euroformula” 2012, set the path for a great performance in the second race. The young Enzo Guibbert would hold on to first place from the start and throughout his relay until he handed the wheel of his Porsche 997 GT3-R supplied by the Pro GT team to co-driver Eric Dermont with a five second lead on his nearest rival. He also took the record lap and it is safe to say the “Volant Euroformula” was the main topic of conversation! Portrait Jules GounonAmong the drivers selected for the final phases of this fourth edition of the « Volant Euroformula » 2013, one name, spoken of since the 90s, caught our attention: Jules Gounon! Only the first name changes, he is the son of Jean-Marc Gounon, former Formula 1 driver for Minardi and Symtek and whose touch of speed was known and recognised by all.
