Eugene Donnelly stormed to an overall fastest time on his way to a season-best result at last weekend’s Donegal International Rally, taking his Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing i20 R5 to 6th overall and 4th Irish Tarmac Championship contender home in difficult conditions throughout the three-day event (15-17 June).

Donnelly, who has returned to the championship after a break of several years, has enjoyed a one hundred per cent finishing record so far this season as he continues to develop the Hyundai and MRF Tyres for the unique Irish soil. But his Donegal outing has seen a shift in the performance of the four-wheel-drive machine and the Maghera driver was delighted with the result. Read More »

Leading motorsport preparation firm Philip Case Rally Sport (PCRS) have joined forces with former Irish Tarmac Champion Eugene Donnelly, adding an exciting new addition to their 2018 plans after acquiring a second Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing i20 R5.

The popular County Donegal business has been instrumental in the return of Eugene Donnelly in 2018 after several years away from the Irish series and have been working closely with the Maghera driver who aims to develop the Hyundai for the unique nature of the Irish asphalt. Read More »

GRX TANECO will expand to run a two-car FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy effort in 2018 with Timur Timerzyanov joining Niclas Grönholm in campaigning a pair of privateer Hyundai i20 Supercars.

– Scott Noh has taken over the position of Hyundai Motorsport GmbH (HMSG) President, based at the company’s headquarters in Alzenau, Germany
– Mr. Noh replaces Gyoo-Heon Choi, who is returning to Hyundai Motor to take up a new position, having steered the build-up of HMSG from scratch since the end of 2012
– Mr. Noh started his new role on March 1 with the overall responsibility of managing every aspect of HMSG from the WRC programme to its Customer Racing activities.
