Infiniti Red Bull Racing driver Daniel Ricciardo has made history by becoming the first of the current Formula One grid to drive the newly redesigned Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez circuit in Mexico City.

After a tour of the pit and paddock facilities, still under construction, Ricciardo completed the first ever lap of the newly-configured track behind the wheel of a 3.5 litre, 320PS Infiniti Q50 Hybrid. He was then joined by Scuderia Toro Rosso driver Carlos Sainz in the World Championship-winning RB7 Formula One car, with the pair driving a number of parts of the track in both cars, including the all-new and highly unique stadium section. Today, Sunday 14th June 2015, 7,000 triathletes took part in the Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research Blenheim Palace Triathlon, including relay entrants from three Formula One teams.

Situated just 25 miles from the iconic Silverstone Circuit, in an area known as ‘Motorsport Valley’, the World Heritage Site saw relay teams from MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS, Red Bull and Force India battle it out to become Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research Blenheim Palace Triathlon F1 Relay Champions.

From engineers to fabricators, trimmers to accountants, each F1 team had three relay teams representing them on race day. Setting off in the 10:55 wave, competitiveness and team rivalry were visible from the start with each team wanting to best their opponents, spurring on their teammates as they commenced the swim. Vettel Abu Dhabi13For this running of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, 2013 World Champion Sebastian Vettel will wear a specially designed helmet on Friday and Saturday.

Vettel chose the design from nearly 1,500 entries submitted from across the world as part of a design competition run by Infiniti across its InfinitiGP social media channels.
