Eugene Donnelly will head to this weekend’s Rally of the Lakes (5th/6th May) in the Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing i20 R5 with renewed confidence as he tackles the second round of the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship in Killarney.

Second place on last weekend’s (October 4-6) Orchard Motorsport Cork 20 event was sufficient to land Garry Jennings his first Irish Tarmac Rally Championship title. Following a memorable year on rally stage and race track in 2011, Kumho has started the new motorsport season with a pair of strong placings on the Safety Direct Galway International Rally (February 5).
