Welsh Rally driver James Williams gave the 2019 Fiesta its first Junior British Rally Championship (JBRC) win last weekend, securing victory by over eight minutes and dominating the RC4 class at the demanding Renties Ypres Rally (28 – 29 June).

Williams and co-driver Tom Woodburn showed an impressive pace from the very first stage, beating many local drivers and asphalt aces to hand M-Sport Ford a maiden JBRC win for the Mk8 Ford Fiesta R2T as the championship visited Belgium for the fourth round of the season. Read More »

Junior British Rally Championship (JBRC) front runners Marty Gallagher and James Williams will join forces with EDSL Sport at the iconic Renties Ypres Rally (28 – 29 June), each driving a 2019 specification M-Sport Ford Fiesta R2T.

Piloting his own Peugeot 208 R2 for the opening three rounds of the British Championship, Gallagher will make the switch to the EDSL run Ford Fiesta MK8 R2T for the fourth round of the series in a bid to gain valuable experience in a top-spec machine for the future. Hampshire based rally team EDSL Sport endured a difficult weekend at the opening round of the 2019 Junior British Rally Championship, suffering a cruel blow to their debut appearance in the series at the Visit Conwy Cambrian Rally (16th February).

Recently announced as M-Sport Fiesta R2 UK resellers, they would field a three-car team in the Llandudno based event with each crew contesting the ultra-competitive JBRC which kicked off in Llandudno and the forests of North Wales. Read More »

The pulsating Prestone MSA British Rally Championship travels across the Irish Sea to Northern Ireland for the John Mulholland Motors Ulster Rally (17-18 August). The intrepid British championship crews will face two demanding days on the fast and bumpy lanes as the BRC’s 60th anniversary season reaches its halfway point.
