At the finish of the Kingdom Junior Stages Rally at Crail on 17th June, we experienced a first – a draw on total times. Ewan Tindall/Paul Hudson (Citroen C1) and Jude MacDonald /Michael Cruickshank (Skoda Citigo) were both on 56.06. But the tie break rule – fastest on first stage – put Tindall in first position.

The Kingdom Stages Rally at Crail is the last tarmac rally of the season and is traditionally when some of the backroom helpers during the year get a chance to demonstrate their own driving talents. The final round of the 2011 Brick & Steel Ecosse Challenge – the Kingdom Stages Rally at Crail on 5th November, 2011 – produced one of the most nail biting and tension packed finishes we have ever seen. It could not have been scripted.

After 7 rallies on forest roads and military range roads all over Scotland, starting in Keilder Forest in March, it was all down to the old wartime bomber station at Crail for the battle for the 205 Ecosse Challenge crown to be settled.  Read More »

The Peugeot 205 GTi driver and Ancrum navigator Dave Robson finished the Crail-based tarmac rally first in the 1.6-litre section of the Brick and Steel 205 Ecosse Challenge. Read More »

Garry Pearson/Dave Robson and Euan Duncan/Jake Dickie were the top performers as the Brick and Steel 205 Ecosse Challenge signed off for 2009 on the Kingdom Stages at Crail in Fife. The Aberdeenshire crew of Duncan and Dickie finished an impressive nineteenth overall out of one hundred starters in their 1.9-litre Peugeot, whereas Pearson and Robson clinched their second 1.6-litre Challenge win in succession.
