Scottish Rally Championship (SRC) front-runner Garry Pearson ensured his title aspirations remain firmly on track with an impressive third place at last weekend’s RSAC Scottish Rally (18th May) in Moffat, round three of the closely fought series.

Pearson and co-driver Dale Bowen secured a stage win and a string of top times on their way to a podium position in their Ford Fiesta R5 to head into the turning point of the championship with one eye on securing Pearson’s maiden SRC title. Read More »

Dumfries rally driver David Bogie made his mark on the history books of the RSAC Scottish Rally, by claiming his third event victory in a row on Saturday (18th May), taking his tally to six on the Moffat based event.

Bogie, co-driven by Irishman John Rowan, steered his Skoda Fabia R5 to an almost picture-postcard victory, winning four out of the events six stages, to equal the record held by legendary British driver Roger Clark. The Borders town of Duns was able to claim the remaining two places on the podium, with Euan Thorburn and Garry Pearson rounding out the top three. Read More »

Some of the best drivers in the UK will head to Moffat this Saturday to tackle the 74th running of the RSAC Scottish Rally (18th May) as over 80 crews are set to line up for the now traditional motorsport event.

The rally will form round three of the KNC Groundworks Scottish Rally Championship as well as being a qualifying round of the Border Challenge Rally Championship, the Northern Historic Rally Championship and the ever-impressive Armed Forces Land Rover Championship. Garry Pearson has his eyes firmly set on a podium at this weekend’s RSAC Scottish Rally (18th May) and believes that a top result is the key to maintaining his 2019 KNC Groundworks Scottish Rally Championship aspirations.

The Duns driver is aiming to bounce back from a devastating non-finish at last month’s Speyside Stages and get his title hopes back on track as the third round of the season heads to the town of Moffat near Dumfries. Duns rally driver Garry Pearson opened his KNC Scottish Rally Championship campaign with a superb second overall at last weekend’s Border Counties Rally in Jedburgh (16th March).

2016 Scottish Rally Championship runner-up Garry Pearson will be aiming to finally get his season underway this weekend, as he tackles the Jedburgh based Border Counties Rally (16th March).

After the opening round of the 2019 KNC Groundworks Scottish Rally Championship was cancelled due to the thick ice in the Highlands at the Snowman Rally, the second round now becomes the season opener and takes crews into the super-fast Kielder forests of the North East and the South of Scotland.
