Knockhill Racing Circuit is all set for its biggest single venue rally in years as it plays host to Round 3 of the Beatsons Motorsport News Circuit Rally Championship in association with MSVR on Sunday 3rd December 2017, sponsored by Beatsons Building Supplies.

60 top line crews from all over the UK will be competing on over 35 miles of challenging rally stages, all based at Knockhill by Dunfermline, Scotland’s National Motor Sport Centre.

With the hosting of the event, Stuart Gray, Knockhill Director of Events said “The Beatsons Building Supplies Knockhill Stages Rally will bring top crews, top teams and top rally action to adoring and knowledgeable Scottish rally fans for the first time in years. Team BMW’s Colin Turkington moved to the top of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship standings after scoring a podium hat-trick at Knockhill.

Adrian Flux Subaru Racing stars Jason Plato and Ash Sutton claimed a win apiece, whilst Speedworks Motorsport’s Tom Ingram came out victorious in the final encounter at the Fife circuit. Read More »

16 year old Finlay Retson, current Junior 1000 Ecosse Challenge rally champion, took the eRally Renault Zoe rally car out for its first taste of competition at Knockhill on Sunday 26th March. The event was the Andy Wilson Memorial Autotest organised by Glenrothes Motorsport Club. knockhill-msv17-announceThe Motorsport News Circuit Rally Championship, in association with MSVR, has unveiled an Circuit Rally exciting eight round provisional calendar for its third season which will include a visit to Knockhill in Scotland for the first time.

Organised by Dunfermline Car Club and planned for Sunday 3rd December 2017, the all-tarmac event at Scotland’s National Motorsport Centre near Dunfermline in Fife will host the third round of the series with roads around the perimeter as well as the track forming the basis for the 40-stage mile event. Plato Knockhill16Silverline Subaru BMR Racing driver Jason Plato started the weekend on a high qualifying with pole position for what would be his 500th race of his Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship career.

He set an impressive lap time during the final seconds of the qualifying session on Saturday afternoon and came out on top with team mate Colin securing his place in the top five with James setting the fourteenth quickest time and Warren twenty first. Read More »

Cammish pre-Knockhill16aPorsche Carrera Cup GB championship leader Daniel Cammish returns to Knockhill in Scotland for rounds 11 & 12 and will be hoping to repeat his double race-winning feat of 2015.

The Leeds-based driver enjoyed a close battle last year with 2014 champion Josh Webster, both drivers pushing each other hard at the front of the field, leaving the rest trailing. By his own admission, the 1.3-mile, 9-turn circuit nestled in the countryside north of Dunfermline, is not one of his strong circuits. Despite this, Dan has a very impressive track record at Knockhill, having won three races at the track during his dominant Formula Ford campaign in 2013 in addition to his two 2015 Carrera Cup wins. Porsche Carrera 16 Announce AThe 2016 Porsche Carrera Cup GB Championship calendar has been confirmed and includes the incredible opportunity to race at the world-renowned Silverstone GP circuit in support of the World Endurance Championship (WEC).

Following on from the success of the 2015 season highlight supporting WEC at Spa-Francorchamps, drivers will once again be able to perform under the watchful eyes of LMP and GT teams and gain exclusive access to the Porsche Team throughout the weekend.
