It is a tough fight to survive in rally sport, not getting to Rally Finland hurt and it was one hell of a job to make it to WRC Rally Germany, but we did make it, thanks to amazing support.

We reached out to lots of potential sponsors and we also launched a crowdfunding campaign to give the public a chance to support if they wanted to. We were grateful to gain the support of Be Wiser Insurance Services, NGK and United Worldwide Logistics for WRC Rally Germany, and with some additional Grand Opportunity supporters, plus the crowdfunding, we had a chance to be there. cook-sweden17aWRC Rally Sweden has been Louise’s biggest rally career challenge in every sense. The battle started just a few days into the new year and a week prior to the entry deadline. Louise had not 1, but 2 of her major sponsors delay their marketing plans. Louise reacted by trying to raise the funds to compete and listed her FIA trophy on eBay with an optimistic hope that it may bring enough in to cover the Championship and Rally entry fees. louise-cook-fia-trophyI hope you do not take offence to receiving this email, my head is in a spin and I have reacted in a hurry. I am reaching out just to ask if you may be able to help. I am competing in the World Rally Championship WRC3 category. Things were looking really good and I was looking forward to competing in the right way with good tyres, good testing in the car before the events etc. I have had news from two major sponsors have had to delay their marketing plans, I have their word that they are still going to be involved. The problem is a successful WRC campaign revolves around competing on WRC Rally Sweden in just 4 weeks and the £8,000 of entry fees are due in today. Read More »

Cook Finland16aLouise Cook returned to World competition this weekend after enduring a 4 year absence from the sport. Louise, despite becoming the first female in the world to gain a FIA Rally Championship title in 2012, has struggled ever since to gain the funding needed to compete at world level. Then, at just the time when enough funding was found for two rounds in 2015, a screw was found to be compressing Louise’s subclavian artery from a collar bone plate, forcing her again away from competition and sadly suffering financial loss from committed costs in the process.
