After a year away we returned to the Manchester velodrome to catch a day of the 2020 National Track Championships. There were a total of six titles decided on the Saturday and they went the following way – Women’s Team Pursuit – Team Breeze (Ella Barnwell, Jenny Holl, Josie Knight, Anna Docherty, Anna Shackley), Men’s kilometre – Jonny Wale (HUUB Wattbike p/b Vita Coco), Women’s scratch race – Ella Barnwell (Team Breeze), Men’s points race – Rhys Britton (Team Inspired), Men’s sprint – Hamish Turnbull (Slingshot) and the Women’s keirin – Lauren Bell (Black Line). Another trip up to Manchester for National Track Championships saw a long Saturday of action, for us. The highlights were many but Katie Archibald was on outstanding form and by the end of the weekend retained all three UK titles she won back in 2017. There was also the succesfiul return to form for Phil Hindes and Jason Kenny as they took the sprint title alongside Ryan Owens & Jack Carlin. Read More »

The season finale of Revolution in Manchester saw six-time Olympic Champion Jason Kenny return to racing for the first time since the Rio Olympics. The final race of the night sealed the Championship for Team Rowe & King as they stormed to victory in the Team Elimination putting them top of the table on 266 points ahead of WNT Rotor in second on 212 points. national-track-champs-224A long and very entertaining day up in Manchester saw 10 National titles decided on day 2. Out first attendance and it started out with qualification at 8:30am, with the sprint final finishing just after 10:30pm. Katie Archibald took the scratch race despite being constantly marked throughout but Sophie Capewell got away from Archibald to snatch the keirin title. The highlight for us though was a stunning 1 point victory for Joe Nally in the men’s points race. Read More »
