Tom_Cave_MWSJust two weeks ago, the event regulations were released for the first round of the 2016 MSA British Rally Championship and organisers of the Mid Wales Stages have reported receiving a record numbers of entries.  The re-vamped 5th/6th March event has already amassed 60 entrants across the three events which make up this year’s rally, significantly up on levels seen at this point in the Newtown & District Automobile Club organized event in previous years. BHRC15 Mid Wales YouTubeThe TV coverage of the second rounds of the Mintex MSA British Historic Rally Championship and the West Wales Rally Spares R.A.C. Rally Championship is now available via the BHRC’s dedicated YouTube channel.

The programme covers the full story of the Mid Wales Stages, the second round of both championships. The programme reports on a hotly contested event over some classic stages in the Hafren and Myherin region, with Nick Elliott and Dave Price taking overall historic victory for the fifth time in six years. The 90-minute programme on Motors TV will cover the full story of the Mid Wales Stages, the second round of both championships. WWRS15 Mid Wales CThe special award winners for the second round of the West Wales Rally Spares R.A.C. Rally Championship have been announced following the Viking Motorsport/Links Electrical Mid Wales Stages (Sunday 1 March).

The championship, organised by the Roger Albert Clark Rally Motor Club, runs in parallel to the Mintex MSA British Historic Rally Championship and is aimed at clubmen historic crews as well as those running in the Open Category. With containing costs for clubmen as a prime aim, the championship runs to a six-tyre rule on all events. Read More »

WWRS15 Mid Wales BSimon and Alister Crook and Grahame Standen/Jane Edgington were the major victors on the second round of the West Wales Rally Spares R.A.C. Rally Championship, the Viking Motorsport/Links Electrical Mid Wales Stages (Sunday 1 March).

The Crook brothers were highest R.A.C. finishers in their Open Category Opel Manta, while Standen turned in a superb performance to finishing leading historic runner in his 1600cc Ford Escort Mk2. Read More »

BHRC15 Mid Wales BNick Elliott and Dave Price were the big winners on round two of the Mintex MSA British Historic Rally Championship, the Viking Motorsport/Links Electrical Mid Wales Stages (Sunday 1 March).
