Builth Wells will, for the first time, host both the start and finish ceremonies of the Quinton Motor Club organised Nicky Grist Stages, with a big motorsport celebration on the morning of Saturday 8 July and the afternoon of Sunday 9 July – to which everyone is invited. And what’s more, both events are completely free for spectators!

Strand Street will be the place to be for the new rally start on the Saturday– where the top seeded cars will be on display from 08.00 and where fans will be able to meet their rally heroes. All the competitors from 10 different championships – including the Prestone MSA British Rally Championship, Ravenol BTRDA Rally Series, Pirelli MSA Welsh Forest Rally Championship and MAXXIS MSA English Rally Championship – will then be flagged away at one minute intervals from outside Strand Hall by local dignitaries and rally celebrities from 08.30 onwards. DMACK has been confirmed as title sponsor for the 2017 Carlisle Stages (Saturday 10 June), which will take in 43 stage miles in the Kershope and Newcastleton complexes for contenders in the BTRDA Rally Series and several regional championships.

The rally will be a round of the Ravenol BTRDA Rally Series, the MSA English Rally Championship, the S G Petch Association of North East and Cumbria Car Clubs Stage Rally Championship and the Association of Northern Car Clubs Forest Challenge.

Building on the success of the first four editions of the DMACK Carlisle Stages, the Roger Albert Clark Rally Motor Club will run a compact event based close to junction 43 of the M6 at Carlisle and running over superb stages. Read More »

Reigning MSA English Rally Champion Sam Bilham continued his winning ways last weekend as he took his second DMACK Fiesta ST Trophy win in a row at the Somerset Stages in Minehead.

Having won the opening round of the season by almost two minutes, the 2300 Club John Easson Award winner once again dominated proceedings, taking victory over the remaining eight Trophy crews to firm up his lead in the hotly contested single make series. Read More »

Durham rally driver Stephen Petch took a well-deserved victory at the Minehead based Somerset Stages Rally on Saturday (8th April) but had to fight hard on all 14 stages to bring his Ford Fiesta WRC home in top spot.    Read More »

Bingley rally driver Sam Bilham will head to Cumbria this weekend as he begins his Fiesta ST Trophy campaign on the Malcolm Wilson Rally.

The 2300 Club John Easson Award winner has set his sights on winning the single make series after finishing runner up in the championship last year.  The 20 year old Yorkshireman is backed by Calvert Construction and Reis Motorsport Insurance this season and will also aim to retain his Maxxis MSA English Rally Championship title to boot. bilham_trackrodBingley rally star Sam Bilham finished off his season in style last weekend as he became the 2016 Maxxis MSA English Rally Champion at the MEM Malton Forest Rally in Yorkshire.

The Fiesta ST Trophy front runner conquered the tricky conditions in the Dalby Forest based event, to seal the prestigious title with a slender two point advantage over his nearest rival.  In a weekend of success for Bilham, the 20 year old also took the Class 4 English Championship honours and became Junior vice champion in the process.
