British racer Oliver Rowland will join Sebastien Buemi as the driver for the Nissan e.dams Formula E team debuting in season five of the all-electric street racing championship.

The lineup was announced during an official team launch at Nissan Crossing in Tokyo, held on the eve of the 21st annual NISMO Festival at Japan’s Fuji International Speedway. The launch event also featured the debut of the all-new, racing-inspired Nissan LEAF NISMO RC. Read More »


The Racing Steps Foundation has finalised its driver line-up for 2011 with the recruitment of multiple kart champions Oliver Rowland and Jake Dennis to its elite single-seater squad.

Rowland (18), winner of the 2010 CIK-FIA Super KF World Cup, will graduate to Formula Renault UK with long-term RSF partner Fortec Motorsport.

Dennis (15), the 2010 CIK-FIA U18 Karting World Champion, moves up to the new InterSteps Championship. He also will race with Fortec.

Carlos Sainz Junior and Oliver Rowland have become the latest drivers to add their names to the 2010 Michelin Formula Renault UK Winter Series ahead of the opening rounds at Norfolk’s Snetterton circuit on November 6th.

Sixteen-year-old Spaniard Sainz, son of former World Rally Champion Carlos, will race with Eurocup team Koiranen Bros Motorsport having already impressed behind the wheel of the single-seater machine during this year’s World Series by Renault. Read More »
