The team were very exited to get back to Oman for rounds 3 & 4 of the OIDC!

Once everyone arrived, the team gave the car a good check over and got ready for practice.

Baggsy got stuck into Qualifying.. on run 1 there was a minor issue of driving in the wrong direction on the new track layout…So there was a lot of pressure on run 2. The safest option was to put in a safe run to secure a place in the event. Baggsy landed in P13 with a solid second run.

Oman International Drift Championship Round 1

The team arrived in Oman on Monday 9th January, ready to get round 1 of the championship underway!

Sparco have sent us a brand new race suit that’s made its debut out in Oman!

Taking to the sands of Oman once again, Baggsy and the SB Motorsport crew spend 2 full weekends in the Persian Gulf sultanate to contest the final two rounds of the Oman International Drift Championship, facing competition from across Europe, the Middle East and even Central America!

OIDC Round 2!

In between workshop sessions building up the amazing Navara-R, Baggsy and the SB Motorsport crew took another trip to the Sultanate of Oman to take part in Rounds 2 and 3 of the Oman International Drift Championship, doing 2 rounds in one trip! Easily qualifying in the Top 32, Baggsy blitzed past Alwaleed Zaki Mahmoud in his own PS13, then in the Top 16 faced down the challenge from Sebastian Fontijn in his BMW E36 2JZ. Read More »
