Renault e.dams enjoyed a successful Qatar Airways Paris ePrix with Séb Buemi claiming his fifth win of the season from six races. Nico Prost was fifth with both drivers enjoying a strong race which finished under safety car conditions.

Jean-Eric Vergne, French driver for DS Virgin Racing, gave fans the hometown hero they wanted as he claimed a second place finish during the French capital’s first ever Formula E race.

Over the weekend, both DS Virgin Racing drivers impressed throughout practice sessions, and then delivered fantastic performances during Qualifying, which resulted in Sam Bird starting the race in Pole Position and Jean-Eric Vergne starting in third. Vergne narrowly missed second position, and whilst the team would have liked to have locked out the front row of the grid, they were left with an almost perfect starting position for the home race of DS Automobiles. As Formula E charges home to Europe, the first race on the European calendar is in the French capital of Paris, with a 1.93km city centre track around the iconic venue of Les Invalides.
