* Visitors will be asked to vote for their favourite of the barn finds on display
* Display will host over 20 vehicles including cars invited from The Coffee & Chrome Collective community.

The quest to discover Britain’s Best Barn Find is on – and this year specialist classic vehicle insurer Footman James is helping with the search. Across the UK, owners are asked to search their garages, outbuildings, and even the bottom of the garden, for forgotten vehicles to be rescued from the dust to display at the Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show, with discovery+.

Held from 24-26 March, Footman James is working with the show organisers to create the UK’s biggest display of ‘barn find’ vehicles, with visitors invited to vote for their favourite at the three-day celebration of all things restoration. Read More »

The list of applauded winners of the Lancaster Insurance Pride of Ownership competition continues to grow with the search for the car and owner to take the Spring 2023 title now underway.

Held at the Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show, with discovery+, from 24-26 March, 20 classic cars and their owners will be invited to the show where the visitors will cast their votes for their favourites. Read More »

– 152 Classic Motoring clubs in attendance
– Winners included VW Golf Cabriolet, Opel Manta and a Jowett Bradford
– Over £30,000 raised for charitable causes

The Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show, with discovery+, returned to Birmingham’s NEC after a two-year absence much to the delight of the classic motoring clubs and enthusiasts.

Some 25,221 attendees (28,846 in 2019) enjoyed live working and demonstrations from the 152 car clubs exhibiting as well as over 1,000 display vehicles ranging from barn finds to concour standard. Read More »

The next outing of the Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show, with Discovery, will now take place in March 2022.

The show was scheduled to take place on 11-13 June 2021 after moving from its usual March dateline. However, the recent announcement of Covid restrictions means that the show cannot be held at that time.

Event Director Lee Masters said: “We understand this will be as big of a disappointment to our exhibitors and visitors as it is to us. We have all been very much looking forward to getting back to some form of normality and ‘business as usual’.

“We are truly sorry that we have had to make this extremely difficult decision and thank all involved for their continued patience, understanding and support in these ever-changing times.” Read More »
