Amy-Williams-and-Sébastien-Ogier-with-'Marshal-the-Marshal'– Sébastien Ogier shares knowledge with Skeleton Champion to help in her quest to compete in Wales Rally GB

Olympic gold medallist Amy Williams met with Sébastien Ogier  – the newly crowned 2013 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) title holder – at Castle Combe’s annual Rally Day (21 September). Ogier was on hand to lend some expert advice to novice co-driver Williams, as the 2010 Winter Olympic Skeleton Champion trains to compete at WRC level.

Williams is now halfway through her rally challenge, which involves completing four national rallies in order to qualify as an international co-driver in time for the final WRC round of the season, Wales Rally GB, on 14-17 November. Read More »

The MSA British Rally Championship will feature at this year’s Rallyday after a gap of six years, the Castle Combe event welcoming a host of stars from Britain’s premier rally championship and its support series on Saturday 21st September.

Things have changed at the BRC since it was last at Rallyday in 2007. The championship has gone all two wheel drive and in doing so, has become one of the most hotly contested in Europe. Read More »

September will be a busy month for the MSA British Rally Championship and NGK Spark Plugs BRC Challenge, following the series annual trip to Northern Ireland in August for the Todds Leap Ulster Rally.

Three events in quick succession follow the Enniskillen-based all-asphalt rally, Silverstone Circuit’s TRAX Ultimate Performance Car Show, MechanEx Donington and Castle Combe’s Rallyday, taking place over a fifteen day period.

Following on from the BRC’s successful debut at TRAX (Sunday 8th September), the championship will return bigger and better; plus alongside the static display, the championship is hoping to have cars competing in the Live Action Arena. Read More »
