– Renault Sport Formula One Team endured a frustrating Heineken Chinese Grand Prix with Nico Hülkenberg finishing 12th and Jolyon Palmer finishing 13th after an eventful 56 lap race at the Shanghai International Circuit. Nico’s Saturday qualifying performance was undone by an early pit stop for dry tyres being followed by an incident on track requiring a Virtual Safety Car, which negated any advantage the strategy could have provided. The same Virtual Safety Car also undid the potential of an early stop for dry tyres for Jolyon Palmer. The pair crossed the finish line just two seconds apart at the chequered flag. Read More »

Nissan, Infiniti and the Red Bull Racing Formula One team have reached mutual agreements to discontinue the partnership between the two automotive brands and the Formula One team at the end of December this year.

In particular, the agreements entail the following two key components:

– Infiniti and Red Bull Racing will discontinue their commercial partnership at the end of the 2015 season, one year earlier than originally stipulated.

Casio Computer Co., Ltd. today launched the Casio Edifice Red Bull Racing game app on Facebook which offers participants the chance to win a trip to the Japanese GP. The app lets fans become engineers as they are challenged to optimise the set-up of a Formula One car to make it ready for the changing conditions on Race Day. Ahead of the Italian Grand Prix weekend, Casio hosted a quiz-based launch for the EQS-A500RB, the latest Limited Edition EDIFICE watch built in partnership with Red Bull Racing.

Sebastian Vettel, Red Bull Racing’s double F1™ World Champion, Team Principal Christian Horner, and former Formula One drivers Martin Brundle and Johnny Herbert all participated in the ‘Speed and Intelligence’ quiz, designed to test the contestants’ knowledge of their sport. Hosted by comedian Tom Goodliffe, the quiz consisted of a multitude of challenges from an audio test to a cards round. Two Renault engined drivers stood on the podium following a classic Belgian Grand Prix at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit yesterday. Red Bull Racing’s Sebastian Vettel finished in second position after scything through the field from his starting slot of 10th, with Lotus F1 Team’s Kimi Raikkonen completing the podium in third.
