Reis Race Retro, Europe’s number one historic motorsport show, has forged a new partnership with governing body Motorsport UK. Both organisations will work together to encourage more people to get involved in all disciplines of grass roots motorsport which are showcased at the three-day event when it returns to Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, from 21-23 February.

As well as widening the appeal to newcomers to the sport, Motorsport UK’s 30,000 license holders and 720 affiliated clubs will benefit from discounted tickets to Reis Race Retro.

Show Director Lee Masters added: “This show has always been about grass roots motorsport which is right at the heart of what Motorsport UK is all about. The race to be crowned the 2017 ARR Craib MSA Scottish Rally Championship (SRC) Challengers victor has once again proved to be a closely fought affair, with four drivers in the hunt for the title with just two rounds remaining.

The SRC Challengers category made its debut in 2016, catering for any driver who has finished in the top 10 of an MSA event in the last 10 years no more than once. Bingley rally driver Sam Bilham secured the hotly-contested DMACK Fiesta ST Trophy at last weekend’s Nicky Grist Stages after taking his fifth win of the series.

Bilham and co-driver Cameron Fair needed only a podium result on the event but took yet another victory to seal the championship with two rounds remaining. Read More »

Round four of the 2017 ARR Craib MSA Scottish Rally Championship (SRC) roars into life on Saturday 20th May with the iconic RSAC Scottish Rally, based in the Dumfriesshire town of Lockerbie.

Yorkshire rally driver Sam Bilham had the best possible start to his BTRDA Fiesta ST Trophy campaign last weekend by taking the category win by over two minutes from his nearest rival at the Malcolm Wilson Rally.

The Skoda Fabia R5 crew may have taken the overall spoils, but there were plenty of class battles across the 100 strong field, as the SRC was welcomed to the event with unseasonably warm conditions in the Highland forests. Read More »
