Samira Khan - Day 6aAs the East African Classic Safari Rally continues into day six the Kenya Airways Rally Queens faced their toughest day yet. Thick, glutinous mud halted their progress in the opening section and then they had to endure stone throwing and rocks placed across the road in the final section of the day. Apart from losing another exhaust and having intercom problems the Kenya Airways Rally Queens have pronounced their day in the Porsche 911 as perfect! This, the third day of the 2013 East African Safari Classic Rally, saw the girls tackle over 300 kilometres of rallying split into three sections. This competitive mileage is more than the pairing have contested in the National Championship all year long!

The Kenya Airways Rally Queens enjoyed a fairly drama free opening day to the 2013 East African Safari Classic Rally, although Samira did admit to being surprised by the pace of those around her! Apart from one or two small navigational errors and the mystery of the missing exhaust both Samira and co-driver Chantal Young were happy with their day!

Aslam and Arshad Khan and their aviation business, ALS, who have been long time supporters of Samira, have agreed terms for her to compete on the nine day marathon in a Porsche 911.
