Regulations for this year’s Rallynuts Severn Valley Stages are now available and organisers of the 3rd June event are confident the 44th running of the Midland Manor Motor Club rally will be one of the best yet.

Established racewear and accessory firm, Rallynuts Motorsport will join the event as title sponsor once again in 2017 and the event will contain around 44 competitive miles of prime stages in the Gwibedog, Cefn, Crychan and Radnor forests. Read More »

hrcr-stage-masters-logoThe HRCR have once again teamed up with West Wales Rally Spares for the second year in a row to present the 2017 Stage Masters Challenge.

The very best clubman in the UK will compete on a 9 round calendar including two overseas trips to the Isle of Man and Killarney Stages for the double and one and a half point scoring rounds, respectively.

This year also sees the introduction of the Escort Cup open to Ford Escorts with 8 valve engines. Read More »

BHRC16 SVS DThe TV coverage of the fourth round of the Mintex MSA British Historic Rally Championship, the Severn Valley Historic Stages, will first be screened on Friday 17 June at 9.35pm on Motors TV.

Filming and TV production for the 2016 BHRC is being handled by the team at Special Stage and the championship will enjoy dedicated 60-minute programmes on Motors TV. Read More »

BHRC16 SVS CThe special award winners from the fourth round of the 2016 Mintex MSA British Historic Rally Championship, the Severn Valley Stages (Saturday 4 June) have been announced following the rally that also featured the fourth round of the Holton Homes Clubmans Challenge.

The Holton Homes Clubmans Challenge is for crews using a maximum of six tyres per rally. The top overall finishers from the Clubmans Challenge field were Ben Friend and Cliffy Simmons, who finished seventh overall in their Pinto-powered Ford Escort Mk2. It was another tremendous performance from one of the youngest drivers in the championship. However, it was a close contest as only one place behind were James Potter and Bob Duck after their best result of the season so far. Read More »

BHRC16 SVS BPaul Barrett and Dai Roberts took a dramatic overall historic victory on the Severn Valley Stages (Saturday 4 June), the fourth round of the 2016 Mintex MSA British Historic Rally Championship.

On a day of ever-changing fortunes in dry and dusty stages in the Epynt region, Barrett and Roberts swept ahead on the final stage of the rally to win in their Pinto-powered Ford Escort Mk2. Rarely has a Pinto-powered car won overall in the BHRC and it was a fantastic performance from both crew members in the RSR Historic Engineering Category 3. Read More »

MSA British Rally Championship (BRC) contenders Jamie Anderson and Ross Whittock took a dominant victory at the Rallynuts Motorsport Severn Valley Stages on Saturday (4th June) in their Ford Fiesta R5. Anderson headed to the event as a shakedown to the forthcoming British Championship round which utilises similar forests and his efforts were rewarded with a 14 second victory from nearest rivals Luke Francis and John Roberts in their Mitsubishi E9. Fellow BRC challengers Ollie Mellors and Ian Windress also had the same idea and were also pleased to have taken third overall in their Proton Satria Neo S2000.

After three rounds, Irish ace Paul Barrett heads the overall points’ table after three tremendous rallies in his Pinto-powered Ford Escort Mk2. Barrett jumped ahead when both Jason Pritchard and Nick Elliott fell victim to the notorious Kielder forest on the recent Pirelli Carlisle Rally.
