The World RX of Great Britain moved to Silverstone for 2018 the relatively short and technical circuit provided a very different challenge to Lydden Hill. As he often does Johan Kristoffersson (Polo R) started slow but a great Sunday saw him qualify fastest for the semi finals. A 1st corner clash with his team mate Petter Solberg lead to a red flag which was fortunate for him. He went through to the final and took the overall victory with Andreas Bakkerud (Audi S1) 2nd and Sébastien Loeb (208 WRX) completing the podium. In the RX2 category Oliver Eriksson took victory and in the Americas Rallycross Tanner Foust (Beetle R) dominated to take victory. Read More »

World RX15 FoustAmerican Top Gear presenter Tanner Foust has confirmed he will compete in at least four rounds of the 2015 FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy at the wheel of a Marklund Motorsport run Volkswagen Polo RX Supercar.

Foust, who won World RX of Finland in Kouvola last year, will kickstart his 2015 World RX campaign at Lydden Hill at the end of May for the British RX round. Read More »

World RX Foust14American Top Gear presenter Tanner Foust took a lights-to-flag victory at today’s rain-soaked World RX of Finland, round four of the FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy.  Driving a Polo RX Supercar as a wildcard entry with the Volkswagen Marklund team, Foust overcame tricky driving conditions to take his second win in Kouvola. Foust World RXAmerican Top Gear presenter and 10-time X Games medallist Tanner Foust has announced he will compete in four rounds of this year’s FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy.

Foust – who will pair with Sweden’s Marklund Motorsport to drive a Polo RX Supercar  – will kickstart his World RX campaign at Lydden Hill in the UK from 3-4 May, but will also compete in Kouvola, Finland (28-28 June), Trois-Rivieres, Canada (7-8 August) and Istanbul, Turkey (11-12 October). VW Beetle RallyXThe Volkswagen Beetle will enter motorsports in the U.S. this summer with a Rallycross Beetle featuring all-wheel-drive and a TSI engine that delivers more than 560 hp which was presented last week at the Chicago Auto Show.
