Progressive rally co-driver Tom Woodburn became the 2018 Prestone MSA British Junior Rally Champion at last weekend’s gruelling Dayinsure Wales Rally GB (4-7th October) after securing an RC4 class podium at Britain’s round of the FIA World Rally Championship.

MSA co-driver graduate Tom Woodburn ensured his Prestone MSA British Rally Championship Junior title hopes remain firmly on track, after guiding Norwegian Steve Rokland to fourth place at the Renties Ypres Rally in Belgium last weekend, despite being 16th and almost last on the fifth test of the event.

Morecambe rally co-driver Tom Woodburn will make first competitive outing in Belgium for five years this week, as he tackles round two of the Prestone MSA British Rally Championship, The Yenties Ypres Rally (22/23 June) alongside current Junior series leader, Steve Rokland.

Woodburn, 23, guided the Norwegian to a dominant win on the opening round of the series at the Pirelli International Rally, taking fastest time all but one stages of the event to cross the finish ramp over a minute ahead of the nearest rival in their Peugeot 208 R2. Read More »

British rally co-driver Tom Woodburn got his Prestone MSA British Rally Championship campaign off to the best possible start last weekend, by taking the opening round Junior win alongside Norwegian ace Steve Rokland at the Pirelli International Rally (28th April).

Woodburn, 23 from Morecambe, guided Rokland to fastest stage time on seven of the eight special stages in the Kielder Forest, to win by an impressive 1 minute and 10 seconds over their nearest rival in their Peugeot 208 R2. The result nets Woodburn maximum points in the Junior series, opening up a seven point lead heading into round two. Read More »
