PhillHallPR7_14British rally co-driver Phil Hall will head to mainland Europe for the first time next weekend as he tackles the Tour of Flanders Rally with Abarth 500 pilot Georgia Shiels.  The ConXion Omloop van Vlaanderen will see Hall reunited with Shiels after a successful outing on last month’s Tyneside Stages rally in a bid to gain valuable overseas experience and international competitive outings. The 2012 Kololi Beach Club MSA British Historic Rally Championship will have a superb TV package thanks to the support of seven TV partners. The schedule of broadcasts on Motors TV has now been confirmed.

The complete story of each event will be told by David Winstanley at rallytv.co.uk, with detailed coverage of each of the three categories. In addition to the eight programmes, the schedule will include a mid-season summary and an end of year review, giving a total of 10 hours of TV dedicated to some of the best action in British rallying. The sixth round of the Dunlop/WONAGO.com MSA British Historic Rally Championship, the Historic Tour of Flanders, will first be screened on Motors TV at 10pm on Sunday 9 October.

The schedule for TV coverage of the Dunlop/WONAGO MSA British Historic Rally Championship has been announced, with dedicated hour-long programmes on Motors TV following each round as well as an extended end-of-season review programme.

The broadcast dates for the first showing of each programme are as follows:
Mid Wales Stages: Sunday 27 March at 9.30pm
Bulldog Historic Rally: Saturday 23 April at 9pm
Pirelli Historic Rally: Saturday 28 May at 8.30pm
Severn Valley Historic Stages: Sunday 26 June at 9.30pm
Ulster Historic Rally: Sunday 18 September at 6.55pm
Tour of Flanders: Sunday 9 October at 10pm
Colin McRae Stages: Saturday 22 October at 9.30pm

The Dunlop/WONAGO.com MSA British Historic Rally Championship will head to Scotland in 2011 with the announcement that the Colin McRae Stages (Saturday 1 October) will replace the Trackrod Historic Cup in the schedule for the coming season.

As part of the BHRC’s on-going consultation process with crews, and following an end of season poll, the 2011 championship will now include the Colin McRae Forest Stages Rally, organised by Coltness Car Club as its penultimate round. This event will run on Saturday 1 October and the event organisers have welcomed the championship to Scotland, and their rally in particular. Read More »

A revised calendar, which has taken the event crowding out of the middle of the year, and an additional round for the Gravel Cup are the key features of the 2011 Dunlop/WONAGO.com MSA British Historic Rally Championship.

The core BHRC retains the same mix of eight events, with five gravel and three asphalt events counting towards the prestigious MSA British Historic Rally Championship.
