Enville Stages

A second visit to the sunny Ty Croes circuit saw a near capacity field tackle 10 stages, in perfect track conditions. Kevin Procter & Lesley Wray (Fiesta S2000 Turbo) were seeded at number 1 but a mistake and costly stall saw them drop behind two cars, on the opening stage. Further issues with the car and incidents on the stage saw them fall out of contention. It was the Escort MkII of Dave Willett & John Davies who took up the mantle of first on the road and they were superb all day but surrounded by 4WD machinery it was John Cope & Clive Molyneux (Impreza WRC) who took victory by 10 seconds. Completing the podium were Adrian Spencer & Mark Hewitt (Impreza WRC) just 11 seconds behind Willett and 21 seconds off Cope’s victory pace.
