The detailed route for the 2023 Roger Albert Clark rally (November 23-27) has been revealed ahead of five full days of forest rallying covering Wales, Scotland and England.

This year’s rally opens with a ceremonial start in Carmarthen on Wednesday evening (22 November) and finishes in Carlisle on Monday afternoon after 350 stage miles, 33 special stages and the longest special stage rally in the UK for more than 30 years. Read More »

Matthew Hirst and Declan Dear took a hattrick of victories at the Get Jerky Rally North Wales on Saturday [25 March] taking their Ford Fiesta R5 to a sensational win by over two minutes from their nearest rival.

Hirst set the fastest time on all but one of the eight tricky forest stages to dominate the event and kick off his defence of the Welsh Rally Championship title in fine style. Read More »

The 2023 Ecosse Junior 1000 season kicks off with the Memorial Garden Junior Stages Rally this Saturday, March 25th at the Condor Royal Navy Base near Arbroath.

With a fantastic 13 crews on the entry list, it’s anyone’s guess who will come out on top.

For the first time, Formula Student will offer sustainable fuel options for teams developing internal combustion vehicles in the upcoming competition, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.

Motorsport UK, the governing body for motorsport in the UK, has provided a grant for entrants to use Coryton sustainable fuels in ICE powertrains within the Formula Student competition.

The sustainable fuels offered by Coryton will offer an 80% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions for the combustion vehicles using it at Formula Student, when compared to fossil fuel-based equivalents, without sacrificing performance. It will also bring the competition in line with Motorsport UK’s objectives to achieve greater sustainability across all motorsport series. Read More »

The 60th Anniversary of the first Manx Trophy Rally in 1963 was marked by the Three Legs of Mann rally run in the traditional format, taking in some of the famous Isle of Man rally roads, putting on a truly great contest by some of the best road and regularity crews in Europe.

The Get Jerky Rally North Wales will bring some of the best rally drivers in the business to Welshpool this weekend [25 March], as the new-look event heads for its new host town in Powys.

Thanks to an exciting new partnership with Trailhead Fine Foods and the high protein Get Jerky brand of beef jerky snacks, the popular loose surface stage rally, organised by Wolverhampton and South Staffordshire Car Club will base itself in the market town, with rally headquarters inside the Welshpool Livestock Market. The provisional entry list for November’s Roger Albert Clark Rally has been unveiled and features a total of 186 entries. The rally runs from November 23 to 27, covering around 350 stage miles in the forests of England, Scotland and Wales.

The entry list is made up of 180 accepted entries plus six reserves as an outstanding demand for entries on the five-day rally ensured that every available place was taken by an entry with a full deposit paid. Letchworth Motor Auctions’ first Classic, Retro and Performance sale of 2023 saw a number of the cars sold exceeding their estimates.

Amongst those was a 1985 Renault 5GTL with motoring journalist, James Walshe from Practical Classics magazine, being one of the previous owners. There was a comprehensive history file and a tempting estimate of £3,500-£4,500, but on sale day it soared to an impressive £5,450. Read More »
