The McLaren 650S GT3 continues the strong start to the season with further silverware as McLaren GT customer team FFF Racing Team by ACM claimed outright victory in the GT Asia championship. Former Formula 1 driver Vitantonio Liuzzi (ITA) alongside former series race winner Hiroshi Hamaguchi (JPN) took victory at the Okayama circuit, Japan. The result marks the maiden win for the 650S GT3 in Asia, and the 11th for the Woking built racer in only its first season.

davidwright_fos15Rally driver David Wright enjoyed a hugely successful Goodwood Festival of Speed when he beat some of the fastest drivers in British rallying to win the shootout event, which was held over the three days of the festival at Goodwood House in Sussex.

Bentham-based Wright was invited to appear at the prestigious event in his Kumho Tyres and Grove Hill Garage-supported Ford Focus WRC, a car which has been used at world championship level by Spanish champion Carlos Sainz. Read More »

Mini Italia15The successful MINI ALL4 Racing pairing of Nasser Al-Attiyah and Matthieu Baumel dominated the Italian Baja leg of the 2015 FIA World Cup for Cross Country Rallies (25-28 June) to take the overall win after securing victory in four of the five stages.

The MINI ALL4 Racing mastered the challenging jumps and tight track perfectly to continually extend the lead set out in the first stage. Read More »

As well as proving a great success with the public, the French round of the FIA WTCC at the Paul Ricard Circuit ended in glory for Citroën. In race one, Sébastien Loeb, Yvan Muller, José María López and Ma Qing Hua claimed the top four places for the Citroën Total team. In race two, Pechito López produced a spectacular performance to work his way up the field and return to winning ways. He was joined on the podium by Ma Qing Hua, who finished third. The results mean José María López once again has a little breathing space at the top of the World Championship, with Citroën also extending its advantage in the Manufacturer standings.

Formula E 15 Champions– Inaugural FIA Formula E Championship comes to an exciting conclusion in London
– e.dams-Renault crowned Constructors’ Champions
– Sébastien Buemi narrowly misses out on Drivers’ Champion title

Nissan Micra pilot Steve Brown is looking for a win at next weekend’s ALMC Stages.

REIS MSA Asphalt Rally Championship class leader Steve Brown will aim to replicate his Emerald Isle victory of three years ago, as he heads to Ireland for the third round of the series, the ALMC Stages. Having scored a class win on the event back in 2012 in his old car, the Rochdale asphalt ace will aim to record another maximum points tally to further increase his lead of the ultra- competitive B9 class, this time in his newly built Nissan Micra Kit Car.

The 27 year old Questmead sales engineer has had an encouraging start to his 2015 assault on the National asphalt series, never outside of the podium on the first two rounds of season. Despite continually developing his unique Micra Kit Car, the new steed as maintained 100% finishing record and Brown now believes he has the confidence to get the maximum from the 1400cc machine.
