The MG Car Club’s Motorsport activities for the 2019 season have been confirmed with a six race calendar for the Club’s six Championships.

Reigning MSA Junior Rallycross champion Tom Llewellin ended his season in fine style by taking victory in the final round of the 2018 Swift Sport Championship at Silverstone at the weekend.

The 17 year old from Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire was battling for runner-up spot in the series after losing out on the title at the previous round and was once again driving for Peter Gwynne Motorsport (PGM) in the Suzuki Swift. Read More »

After missing the 2017 edition we were back for the 68th running of the Birkett 6hrs relay race. The day started out grey and once the rain started during the the 3rd hour of the race it only got worse. It did nothing to dampen the racing though and in the scratch race a late safety car period saw the gap between the top two teams dramatically reduced. Long time leaders Cupra Racing held on to win by half a second from the hard charging Breakell Racing Heroes, after the 6 hours of racing. In the handicap race it was the Red Rascal team who took victory by just over half a minute from the Mostly Rusty Two Seaters. Read More »

Ferrari’s Corse Clienti division is pleased to announce the launch of the Ferrari Challenge UK series for 2019, with the Ferrari 488 Challenge to race on four UK circuits. This is the first time in the history of Ferrari that the brand has offered a one-make racing series dedicated for a single market.
