Once this had thawed the usual grip issues with cow dung and low quality surfaces on the service roads, it proved to be entertaining on the stages. Kevin Tappin & Jonathan Hawkins (Escort Cosworth) were fastest on stage 1 by a single second from Paul & Nia Fowden (Impreza) on stage 1 and when Fowden punctured on stage 2 his challenge disappeared, (even with fastest stage times on stages 3 & 4). 2015 will be the 26th year of Citroen 2CV racing in the UK, making it one of the UK’s longest-running one-make championships.

The Championship season features four double-header meetings: at Oulton Park, Brands Hatch Indy, Cadwell Park and Croft. Each meeting will have two, 20-minute races. At the Croft meeting, there will be a third race, a two-hour Enduro, to help teams and drivers prepare for the special challenges of long distance racing.

Over the weekend of 21-23 August, the 25th running of the 2CV 24-Hour race will be staged at the amazing Anglesey circuit. Read More »

Well over one hundred classic rally cars set off in the early morning mist to tackle the famous and demanding special stages within the Ring of Kerry on the Rentokil Initial Killarney Historic Stages rally.

Cars were entered in three classes: Historics (FIA and UK-MSA), Modifieds and Juniors, spanning a wide variety of the usual classic rally car suspects – Minis, Porsches, Toyotas, Volvos, a Manta, a Saab; even an Avenger… but by far the vast majority were Mk1 and Mk2 Ford Escorts. Read More »
