If you haven’t heard or you’ve somehow forgotten, the guys at SBMotorsport are building an epic 1000hp Nissan Navara-R, which will host the power plant and drivetrain from our original R35 GTR.

This build will be the worlds first Nissan Navara-R, with the fire breathing twin turbo VR38 and complete front and rear subframes from the GTR too. It’s a build not to be missed!

SB Motorsport, the company behind Europe’s wildest Nissan GT-R Drift car build are taking full advantage of workshop downtime and using it to plan the launch of its most challenging build to date – a GT-R powered Nissan Navara. Nissan’s workhorse is about to meet its flagship engine product, The VR38 twin-turbo GT-R engine as the team will replace the standard diesel option for a performance punching engine package from the infamous GT-R sports car, cultivating a pick-up with over 1000hp on tap.

No stranger to undertaking big challenges, Essex (UK) based, SB Motorsport have a proven track record in outrageous builds and delivering products to global recognition. NASCAR, one of motorsports highest ranking series. For this round Steve ‘Baggsy’ Biagioni and his team flew across the pond from Essex, UK to LAX and a short trip to Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California. To play hosts to our first NASCAR appearance of 2020, and to produce the awesome one of-a-kind Smoke Show demos across the weekend. Showing pure NASCAR fans what drifting is all about!

January 2020, with Christmas over and rolling into a new year it’s time to start it off right! We are at the Autosport International Show at the NEC in Birmingham, UK. This event marks the start of our 2020 motorsport calendar and our first event of this new decade. But for this year, Baggsy is smoking out the Live Action Arena Show in his #LSXR35 with his fellow Monster Energy athlete Luke Woodham.

The show typically runs over 4 days, Thursday to Sunday, with 95,000+ visitors though the doors. ASI is the best place for any petrolhead to start off their new year. But for us in the Live Action Arena, we were concentrating on the busy event ahead, with a total of 12 live shows. All inside Hall 5 of the National Exhibition Centre.

This year the Arena was seen to be busier than ever, with media day trade tickets up more than 100% on the same day last year. It was definitely a show not to miss! Read More »

September would see the final round of the Drift Masters European Championship roll into Mondello Park, Ireland. With a revised track layout and a championship fight on the cards, it promised to be another action packed weekend.

Two days of good weather and practice allowed the drivers to get familiar with the new track layout. Baggsy and the team to took time to dial in his #PS13V8 for the demanding line ahead of qualifying. But the main event soon came knocking. The 2019 Gymkhana GRiD kicked off with something a little special for Baggsy. The Thursday press conference would see the premiere of Baggsy’s new film ‘Return To Driftenberg’. After the success of the first instalment ‘The Driftenberg Project’, Baggsy teamed up with St Supensions and Monster Energy to bring more smoke to the streets of Fichtenberg, Germany.

With cameos from Liam Doran, Andreas Bakkerud, Shane Lynch, Mareike Fox and even the mayor of Fichtenberg Roland Miola. The project would see Baggsy go on the run from the Driftenberg Police Force (Doran and Bakkerud). The four day film shoot took place in the centre of Fichtenberg, on public roads. After an unpleasant finish in Riga, Baggsy would step into the Drift Masters Round 5 weekend with a lot of weight on his shoulders. The team at SB Motorsport had been busy behind the scenes making sure the #PS13V8 was back to it’s former glory and ready to do battle!

Ferropolis, “The City Of Iron” is an open museum of huge old industrial machines in Gräfenhainichen, a city between Wittenberg and Dessau, Germany. It also plays host to the “Iron Drift King” events, and this past weekend saw Round 5 of the Drift Masters European Championship bring the noise. With Thursday and Friday seeing two days of practice for the DMGP drivers to get familiar with their surroundings. Saturday soon rolled around, and it was time to get down to business. Read More »

It was once again that time of year where 50,000 crazy petrol heads descended upon the quiet village of Rakkestad Norway, for one of the biggest motorsport festivals on the calendar. Gatebil has become a staple for many automotive fans as it takes over Rudskogen Motorsenter every year.

Baggsy and his S14a #StreetWeapon were joined by fellow Monster Energy teammates Luke Woodham, Sultan Al-Qassimi and Tessa Whittock. The festival features three full days of drifting and track action, along with after track parties, trade village and plenty more. The event attracts spectators and drivers from all over the globe for its true unique vibe.

The most anticipated round on the Drift Master calendar returned to Plock Stadium, Poland at the end of June. The custom drift track built inside the football stadium hosted one of the most talked about events in 2018, and history was about to repeat.

Armed with his #PS13V8, Baggsy got straight to work. After some solid practice sessions, it was time to head into qualifying. Scoring 84 in his first run and 91 in his second, Baggsy was sitting comfortably in 4th place, and ready to take on the battles.

It was back to Sunny Spain this past weekend for Baggsy. And this time he got to play on the world famous F1 Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

With the FIA World Rally Cross descending upon the Spanish community of Catalonia, Baggsy and the #LSXR35 came to bring the noise to the party. Kicking off the weekend with a photoshoot on the F1 start line, the #LSXR35 looked right at home.

Joined by fellow Monster Energy athlete Luke Woodham and in front of a crowd of 25k crazy WRX fans. Baggsy brought the Monster Energy smoke show with four demos over the course of the weekend. And to top it off, a couple of lucky fans got to join him in the passenger seat. Read More »
