Last weekend saw 2018 kick of with the annual Autosport International Show in Birmingham at the NEC. The #LSXR35, fresh from Essen Motor Show took pride of place on the Sunoco UK booth. The four day show is the epicenter of the UK automotive industry. With 80+ thousand people in attendance, it’s the place to find all of the latest automotive innovation and products.

Also being unveiled at Autosport, on the British Drift Championship booth was the new BTN Performance #TrackWeapon S14a. A joint project between BTN Performance and SB Motorsport see’s Baggsy’s old #StreetWeapon receive an overhaul for the 2018 season.

In other news, Baggsy is very excited to announce his new partnership with HEL Performance brake lines for 2018. HEL Performance offers a full range of premium stainless steel brake line kits and accessories for both the automotive and motorcycle industries. They machine all their mainline stainless steel brake line fittings in-house – The only performance brake hose company in the UK that does this. They put all their products through their paces on track – research and development at its finest. A lot of companies don’t have full confidence in their own products. HEL Performance does. It marks the end of the season every year, and is one of the craziest events on the calendar for Baggsy. Monza Rally Show once again took over the Autodromo Nazionale Monza circuit, for a three days packed of rally action.

It’s been 12 months since the last instalment of Gymkhana Grid took over the streets of Marathon, Greece. And this year would have to be something special to top the 2016 madness. Taking over Carnival City in Johannesburg, South Africa, the line up of AWD and RWD superstars truly made an impact.

The four day mayhem fuelled event kicked off with the Press and VIP day. With media from all over the globe in attendance, the day was all about the drivers introducing themselves and Gymkhana to the worlds press. Last weekend saw Baggsy take his last trip to the USA for 2017. Underneath the scorching desert sun of Phoenix, Arizona, Baggsy would lay down the smoke one final time at the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. Joined by fellow Monster athletes Brian Deegan, Hailie Deegan and the Ives Brothers.

SEMA Show is the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world. The annual show is held at the Las Vegas Convention Centre and draws the industry’s brightest minds and hottest products to one place. In addition, the SEMA Show provides attendees with educational seminars, product demonstrations, special events, networking opportunities and more. The 2017 SEMA Show drew more than 70,000 domestic and international buyers.

The past weekend saw Baggsy return to the USA to bring the smoke once again. This time the #LSXR35 would wow the crowds of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Hollywood Casino Playoff race at Kansas Speedway.

Trip number two for Baggsy and the #LSXR35 would see the pair bringing the smoke to the bright lights of Las Vegas. For the seventh straight year, Sam Boyd Stadium played host to the all-star Supercross exhibition that is Monster Energy Cup. This year saw the inclusion of the inaugural event #TheDuels, where 10 of the top off-road truck drivers would battle it out. And if that wasn’t enough, the DIRT SHARK #BiggestWhip contest returned to wow the crowds.

The #LSXR35 had landed in America, and it was time for Baggsy to head stateside for his first appearance at NASCAR. Dover International Speedway aka Monster Mile would play backdrop to a number of high octane Monster Energy smoke shows across the race weekend.

First stop Rosedale for a guided tour of the Sikky Manufacturing head quarters. Sikky are the creators of the rear end for Baggsy’s R35 build, and their facility is any drift fans paradise. Read More »

Last weekend saw Baggsy make the long trip to Hefei, China for Round 3 of the D1GP China Series. Being reunited with his trusty #S13V8, Baggsy would be battling it out on a freshly laid custom track inside the Hefei Olympic Stadium. The weekend promised to be a truly unique event filled with some of the best drivers that China and D1 Japan had to offer.
