What started as a bit of a crazy idea, very quickly became reality. That idea being, to take the ultimate Japanese import, the Nissan R35 GTR and rework it like never before. Many would loose their minds at the thought of taking the R35’s iconic VR38 V6 Twin Turbo and replacing it with a completely different engine and drivetrain. But for Baggsy it made perfect sense to transplant a Chevrolet LSX 454 V8 into the R35, and then some. This was not just a simple task of getting a car ‘Drift’ ready, this was a complete ground up build, reworking every part of the original car from top to bottom. There is no rest for the wicked, and certainly no rest for Baggsy. After a successful first round at the Drift GP, the PS13 V6 made a quick trip back to the UK before heading off to Denmark. The next instalment on the calendar would be one of the biggest Scandinavian motorsport events, DHB Show 2017. Held at Padborg Park, an airfield turned race circuit best known for hosting the Danish Touring Car Championship. Straight of the back of his return from D1GP China Series, Baggsy was back on the road again this past weekend. This time headed for the Tours Speedway in France. This famous half mile oval track built for the Nascar Whelan Series in 2012 would play host to the first round of the Drift GP European Championship. A demanding track layout featuring a 9 degree banking and destructive walls really would push the drivers to the max. Read More »

With the drift season in full swing, this past weekend saw Baggsy taking another trip. This time to be reunited with his notorious V8 S13 in China. The city of Beijing would play backdrop to Round One of the D1GP China Series.

The past weekend saw Baggsy and his team return to Ireland in pursuit of breaking the unbeaten streak of the Irish, at the Irish Drift Championship. Mondello Park circuit has never been kind to Baggsy on previous visits, but armed with his new 800 bhp VQ35 Turbo Nissan PS13, Baggsy was ready to take on the challenge of the Irish.

Mid 2016 Baggsy and the team headed to the Top Secret Ladoux Test Centre in France. An impressive tyre testing facility with 20 test tracks 45 km long in total, used for grip tests on wet or dry surfaces, handling tests, noise tests, comfort tests and more. But Baggsy wasn’t here for tyre testing, he was in the centre of France to teach Richard Hammond how to drift, properly! With filming well underway for the much anticipated ‘The Grand Tour’ Richard Hammond was keen to learn the correct techniques of professional drifters. First off he would need an instructor and a fully prepared drift car. His fellow Grand Tour hosts Jeremy Clarkson and James May had this covered in the form of Steve ‘Baggsy’ Biagioni and his 700hp V8 S13.
