The return of Reis Race Retro saw motorsport legends reunited, new world records set, and more than 130 rally cars in action at Stoneleigh Park this weekend. A celebration of historic and retro motorsport, around 22,187 attendees enjoyed the three day event.

REIS Pride of the Paddock finalists revealed

* Eight race and rally cars have been chosen for the final with visitors deciding the overall winner

The finalists selected for the Reis Pride of the Paddock competition have been chosen and now it is down to the visitors of Reis Race Retro to decide the overall winner.

Held from 24-26 February 2023 at Warwickshire’s Stoneleigh Park, the eight owners will display their race and rally cars in the hope that the public will vote their vehicle the Pride of the Paddock.

BTCC legend Jason Plato leads a packed grid of special guests at REIS Race Retro

* Racing driver, TV presenter, and two-time British Touring Car Championship winner Jason Plato will make his Reis Race Retro debut.
* British rally and saloon car racing driver Louise Aitken-Walker MBE also makes first appearance.
* Welsh rally driver David (Dai) Llewellin, and his son Tom, a former Welsh National Rally Junior Champion and British Junior Rallycross Champion, will also appear.

Racing driver, TV presenter, and two-time British Touring Car Championship winner Jason Plato will make his Reis Race Retro debut, leading a packed grid of special motorsport guests. Held at Stoneleigh Park from 24-26 February, Jason will be at the historic motorsport celebration all three days so there will be plenty of opportunities for fans to grab an autograph or that all important selfie.

Entries are now open for the Reis Pride of the Paddock competition with visitors to Reis Race Retro deciding the winner. Returning to Stoneleigh Park after a three-year absence from 24-26 February 2023, the show is inviting private owners to showcase their competition cars from all motorsport disciplines.

Race Retro 23′ Rally Stage Entry Applications NOW Open

The entries for the Live Rally Stage are now OPEN for Europe’s No.1 Historic Motorsport Show Race Retro which returns in 2023 after a 3 year break due to the global pandemic with its headline title sponsor, Reis Motorsport Insurance.

“Rallying with Group B are delighted to announce that we have again signed a new deal with Race Retro and look forward to continuing our successful working relationship into the future with the existing partners of the show. We look forward to returning with long awaited enthusiasm and continuing to develop the live action features of the show.” Says Tim Foster, RWGB Director.

Statement regarding REIS Race Retro 2021

In accordance with the current government guidelines, Reis Race Retro will not be held in its usual February dateline in 2021 and will be postponed until further notice until a new date is determined.

While the show won’t be filling out the halls and rally stages at Stoneleigh in February, Silverstone Auctions will still be running its Race Retro sale on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 March 2021.

Reis Race Retro 2020 secures a podium finish as enthusiasts say it was the ‘Best ever’

Reis Race Retro, Europe’s number one historic motorsport show, secured a ‘podium finish’ with enthusiasts who braved the inclement weather over the weekend and hailed the 2020 event ‘the best ever.’

With over 140 rally cars in action, a stellar line-up of celebrity drivers and guests, over 24,200 attendees visited Warwickshire’s Stoneleigh Park for the annual celebration.

Race Retro – Rally Stage

Blustery winds and the odd squally shower hit the rally stage on this years Race Retro. With better spectator viewing the weather did not put off the spectators, for the 1st run at least, as well over 100 different cars tackled the main feature stage and the rally rides stage. With everything from contemporary R5’s through to Group A, Kit cars, Group B, Group 4, Land Crabs and many more, there was a huge variety of cars on display. Didier Auriol was the main name from the past who put in several runs in the Sierra Cosworth, whilst 2019 ERC Champion Chris Ingram was present to have a play in a few cars too.
