Autosport International Show 2023

Baggsy’s Nissan GTR and Navarra-R are going to be at the Autosport International Show from 12th – 15th January.

The Nissan GTR will be on the Funk Motorsport stand #3751

Pay the GTR a visit and get some one on one with the brilliant heat management specialists at Funk Motorsport and their groundbreaking products.

The Nissan Navarra-R will be on the CTRL Stand #3652 in hall 3.

Baggsy – Autosport International Show & New 2020 Partnerships Announced

January 2020, with Christmas over and rolling into a new year it’s time to start it off right! We are at the Autosport International Show at the NEC in Birmingham, UK. This event marks the start of our 2020 motorsport calendar and our first event of this new decade. But for this year, Baggsy is smoking out the Live Action Arena Show in his #LSXR35 with his fellow Monster Energy athlete Luke Woodham.

The show typically runs over 4 days, Thursday to Sunday, with 95,000+ visitors though the doors. ASI is the best place for any petrolhead to start off their new year. But for us in the Live Action Arena, we were concentrating on the busy event ahead, with a total of 12 live shows. All inside Hall 5 of the National Exhibition Centre.

This year the Arena was seen to be busier than ever, with media day trade tickets up more than 100% on the same day last year. It was definitely a show not to miss!

Autosport International

It has been a couple of years but we were back at the NEC for Autosport International but this year as an exhibitor. Motorsport Games are now a major force in hosting eSports and were showing off some of their recent series for visitors to play before witnessing the WEC and Dirt Rally 2.0 finals, over the weekend. There was still the chance to make a quick pass round the show too, to take in all the real world competition cars.

Citroën Total WRT launches its 2019 season

Citroën Total World Rally Team unveiled the new colours of its C3 WRCs at the weekend, as the 2019 WRC season was officially launched at the Autosport International show at the NEC in Birmingham. The cars will be driven this year by Sébastien Ogier / Julien Ingrassia and Esapekka Lappi / Janne Ferm, and will feature a brand new livery. It is designed to celebrate the brand’s centenary, as well as the return of Red Bull alongside long-standing partners Total and Michelin.

Cars, stars and live action entertainment rounds off successful final day at Autosport International

– Ex-F1 driver Johnny Herbert took to the Autosport Stage, with Karun Chandhok and Billy Monger starring elsewhere in the show
– Touring Car legend Andy Rouse awarded greatest-ever British Touring Car Driver
– Performance and Tuning Car Show highlights included TV star Yiannimize and the launch of Motorious.com with a stage which featuring a McLaren P1
– Thrills and spills continued in the Live Action Arena with performances from Billy Monger, a host of stunt drivers and competition racers

2019 World Rally Championship launch kicks off an action-packed ‘Super Saturday’ at Autosport International

– Autosport International, the world’s biggest pre-season motorsport show, marked its opening day with the launch of the 2019 FIA World Rally Championship
– WRC cars, drivers, co-drivers and team principals for 2019 from M-Sport Ford, Hyundai Shell Mobis WRT, Toyota Gazoo Racing and Citroën Total WRT were all introduced to the crowds
– McLaren CEO Zak Brown and F1 drivers Lando Norris Carlos Sainz opened the first public day and spoke to fans on the Autosport stage
– Karun Chandhok, Billy Monger, Darren Turner and British Touring Car Championship racers round off the list of motorsport icons on star-studded ‘Super Saturday’
– 1966 Lotus Cortina, raced by Jim Clark, Graham HIll and Jacky Ickx went under the hammer at Silverstone Auctions and sold for £150,000

David Coulthard leads host of stars at Autosport International as trade comes to a close

Hyundai Motorsport targets titles in 2019 FIA World Rally Championship

– Hyundai Motorsport has outlined its ambitions to compete for the FIA World Rally Championship manufacturers’ and drivers’ titles in 2019
– Revised crew line-up sees Thierry Neuville and Andreas Mikkelsen tackle the complete season with Dani Sordo scheduled for eight rounds and Sébastien Loeb for six.
– Under new Team Director Andrea Adamo, Hyundai Motorsport will contest its most comprehensive season in WRC to date with 14 rounds, including a new event in Chile.
