Team Parker Racing suffered more bad luck in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, as a Team Parker software glitch and gearbox failure cost it a legitimate shot at a podium at this year’s 24 Hours of Spa.

Team Parker Racing is set to resume action in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup as it tackles the daunting 24 Hours of Spa over this forthcoming late autumnal weekend of (October 22-25).

Due to directives issued by the National Security Council of Belgium, which include the suspension of all outdoor events in the country in light of global health concerns regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus), this year’s World RX of Benelux at Spa-Francorchamps on May 16-17 has been re-scheduled.

This decision was made after careful consideration and consultation with the FIA, the Belgian ASN and the local event organizer, as the health and safety of everyone involved remains our priority. Timur Timerzyanov claimed an emotional maiden world championship victory to crown a spectacular World RX of Benelux at Spa-Francorchamps, the third round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy.
