Now we haven’t defected to circuit racing we simply took the opportunity to pop down to Silverstone to see the F1 teams conduct their last test before the British GP.
Only half the drivers were there but with most putting more laps in than a GP distance, so there was plenty of action on track.
The midway point of the BTRDA championship saw the crews congregate in Mansfield. With all the major players fighting for the Gold Star championship present it was Dave Weston who took a comfortable victory, in his Focus WRC.
Behind him Cole just pipped Nicholls for top points.
Chatsworth House saw two non-stop days worth of action for the 2nd Rally Show. This years special guest was Marcus Gronholm and he delighted the crowds in the Focus WRC.
In addition to this the BRC celebrated its 50th anniversary with a collection of former champions.
